We are very pleased with the way this project went and the end result. All
Weather Decks' owner, Cass Brinkman, showed-up promptly, looked at the
job and listened to our desires. We had a narrow, broken concrete
sidewalk and wanted it replaced with a sidewalk of classic red bricks with
a specific patten of black bricks. The next day we were presented with a
sketch of the proposed sidewalk and a bid for the project.
Upon our agreement, the work began promptly and was completed in a
reasonable time as weather allowed. The gentlemen who crafted our
sidewalk, Alex and Cory, were respectful, tidy, and did a great job. The
end result was a beautiful, personalized sidewalk of which we are very

from the bidding process, to the tear down, to the construction of the

knowledgable. They used No. 1 grade lumber, cement holes exceeded
code requirements, deck was constructed with screws (not nails), ledger
board secured to house with bolts (not nails), carpentry work was

collaborated in the design phase of the deck. Upon the scheduled start
date, the workmen cordially introduced themselves. They were adept
and hard working; placed the old deck in the job site dumpster that 1st
day! The supervisor provided amazingly responsive coordination for
the entire project. For example, a scratched deck board was noted and

was built, the supervisor helped us make a design change to attractively

replace our old deck and add a screened-in porch to the deck. Cass

Replaced wood deck with Azek composite, installed french doors and
reinstalled a window where the old pass door was located, added to deck
length that flowed into a newly created stamped concrete patio that is
outlined with a stone wall around the patio perimeter. Gas lines and
electrical lines were installed for wall and a fire pit and gas grill. The
stone enclosed fire pit was newly created as well. Lighting was installed in
stone wall and on deck railing.

I found All Weather Decks on Angie's List. Originally I contacted Cass to
do major repair work on an old, very run down second story deck on the
back of my house. He listened to what I wanted and asked questions. By
the end of the conversation I felt that he understood what I wanted. I also
got bids from other contractors. I found that his was the most competitive
bid, and I also felt the most comfortable with him and his attitude. It truly
seemed that his biggest concern was my satisfaction. His crew got started
and quickly found that the deck was in worse shape than originally
thought. Cass called me, told me of the problem and said it would take
less work to completely replace the deck with a new one of the same
design. He said he would do this for the same price we had agreed on for
the repair.
Before the work could begin there were a number of very large pots (20"
across and full of dirt) that had to be removed from the old deck, along
with a large BBQ, and 2 tables. The crew carefully removed these and got
started building the new deck. Over the next few days they tore down the
old deck, poured new concrete footings for the heavy upright supports,
remember this is a second story deck, and started building the new deck,
including a stairway. My dog has always used the stairs to get to the
backyard. Cass knew that the sooner the stairs could be completed the
better. It was understood, but not stated in the contract that the stairs
should be usable by Friday. In the end this was not possible. However,
without my asking, the crew came out and finished the stairs on Sunday.
This is just one example of why I am so impressed with Cass and his
people. When the deck was completed, Scott the foreman and I went over
the job to make sure I was happy with the results. I was happy, but I am by
nature an overly picky perfectionist. I pointed out a couple very minor
details. Scott displayed an excellent attitude and immediately made the
changes. After completion they replaced the pots and other stuff on the
new deck and completely removed all the trash, leftover boards, etc. My
wife and I are extremely happy with our new deck. It is a completely
new deck from top to bottom. It is solidly built and looks better than the old
deck did when it was new. I have complete confidence in Cass and his
crew. I have found that his biggest goal really is our satisfaction. I have
had other work done around the house and Cass is head and shoulders
above any of the other contractors I have had. If I needed more deck work
done I would call him without question. I would also recommend him to
anyone else who needs deck work done.

This experience was absolutely the best we have ever had in dealing
with any sort of contractor. Our deck was in such bad shape that it was
dangerous for our grandchildren to play there. We talked to many

their product and their services were best. Many were unusually high,
stating that their product was so much better and deserved to cost more
money. We noted in Angie's list that All Weather Decks got a very good

I found All Weather Decks on Angie's List. Originally I contacted Cass to
do major repair work on an old, very run down second story deck on the
back of my house. He listened to what I wanted and asked questions. By
the end of the conversation I felt that he understood what I wanted. I also
got bids from other contractors. I found that his was the most competitive
bid, and I also felt the most comfortable with him and his attitude. It truly
seemed that his biggest concern was my satisfaction. His crew got started
and quickly found that the deck was in worse shape than originally
thought. Cass called me, told me of the problem and said it would take
less work to completely replace the deck with a new one of the same
design. He said he would do this for the same price we had agreed on for
the repair.
Before the work could begin there were a number of very large pots (20"
across and full of dirt) that had to be removed from the old deck, along
with a large BBQ, and 2 tables. The crew carefully removed these and got
started building the new deck. Over the next few days they tore down the
old deck, poured new concrete footings for the heavy upright supports,
remember this is a second story deck, and started building the new deck,
including a stairway. My dog has always used the stairs to get to the
backyard. Cass knew that the sooner the stairs could be completed the
better. It was understood, but not stated in the contract that the stairs
should be usable by Friday. In the end this was not possible. However,
without my asking, the crew came out and finished the stairs on Sunday.
This is just one example of why I am so impressed with Cass and his
people. When the deck was completed, Scott the foreman and I went over
the job to make sure I was happy with the results. I was happy, but I am by
nature an overly picky perfectionist. I pointed out a couple very minor
details. Scott displayed an excellent attitude and immediately made the
changes. After completion they replaced the pots and other stuff on the
new deck and completely removed all the trash, leftover boards, etc. My
wife and I are extremely happy with our new deck. It is a completely
new deck from top to bottom. It is solidly built and looks better than the old
deck did when it was new. I have complete confidence in Cass and his
crew. I have found that his biggest goal really is our satisfaction. I have
had other work done around the house and Cass is head and shoulders
above any of the other contractors I have had. If I needed more deck work
done I would call him without question. I would also recommend him to
anyone else who needs deck work done.

This experience was absolutely the best we have ever had in dealing
with any sort of contractor. Our deck was in such bad shape that it was
dangerous for our grandchildren to play there. We talked to many
contractors who gave us a bewildering number of explanations about why
their product and their services were best. Many were unusually high,
stating that their product was so much better and deserved to cost more
money. We noted in Angie's list that All Weather Decks got a very good
rating. We called Cass Brinkman, who immediately responded and gave
us a thorough presentation including pictures and names of people who
had his deck. Every person we talked to had nothing but great things to
say. In addition his price was extremely reasonable compared to the other
prices. We went ahead and signed the contract. His workmen were very
polite, professional, and informative. If there happened to be something
that I needed some help with they willingly pitched in to help me get a task
done that I could not do alone. The workmen cleaned up after themselves
each day. A week or so after the deck was completed we went through a
punch list with Cass, who corrected everything we requested and did this
in a timely fashion. One of the items included a number of defective
boards; that is, there were some streaks in the finish. He took care of the
replacements in a timely fashion. In short, All Weather Decks comes
highly recommended.

I picked this company after receiving 5 bids, which I've been told is a lot,

decision. Price wise they were smack in the middle and they seemed
